Drifter Ignition Coils

A customer sent me this unsolicited testimonial,
“Hello Autotrad
I would just like to write to tell you how pleased I am with the Drifter ignition coils that you supplied for my 03 XR6 Turbo. Before I had your coils, I was using the factory items and were on their last legs. My car has been enhanced and as such has a higher boost level over a standard vehicle. Since having this done, initially, and over time, I have had to reduce my spark gap right down just so that the car can ‘full boost’ otherwise it misfires and goes nowhere. The down side was; compromised / poor throttle response and a ‘lumpy’ idle which often resulted in stalling. Needless to say, the car was not running to its full potential and became very frustrating.
Once I received your Drifter coils, I knew as they were stronger than the factory items, that I would be able to run a much bigger spark gap than I was running previously. As soon as I installed the coils and drove the car afterwards, I could feel an immediate difference. There was certainly not any stalling and when the car was under a ‘full boost’ application, the car felt VERY strong with no hint of a misfire. I have just come back from driving my car now on the motorway, and in 3’rd gear under full acceleration, the car just feels relentless, whereas before, the car felt as flat as a pancake.
These coils have rejuvenated the acceleration of my car! I couldn’t be happier.
